my far east 2023
As they say, the sun rises in the East. That’s where designer came from.
The Far East region is Russia’s gateway to Asia. Local community significantly influenced by the Asian culture. One of the benefits of living there is proximity to the sea. As a result, seafood, whales, and beaches is something I see every day. On the flipside you get moist and salty air, endless fogs, Japanese typhoons and strong winds.
Designer has created first upcycling collection with the Asian cut, elements that resemble seaweed, fishing nets, scales and waves.
This collection smells like the sea and sounds like waves.
All the pieces are made of textile waste (fallout after cutting or recycled old clothes). Not a single meter of fabric was purchased, except for the linings.
